Frequently asked questions
What is THCa/p, and how does it differ from THC?
THCa (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) and THC‑P (tetrahydrocannabiphorol) are non‑psychoactive compound found in raw hemp. When it’s heated via vaping, smoking, or infusion it transforms into THC, which produces the familiar “high.” Our House of Ounce products contain THCa/p, ensuring legal compliance while delivering desired effects during use.
Are House of Ounce products federally legal?
Yes. All our products are hemp‑derived and contain less than 0.3% THCa/p by dry weight, fully compliant with the 2018 Farm Bill.
Will using House of Ounce products result in a positive drug test?
Possibly. Even though our products are legal, they still contain cannabinoids that could trigger a positive drug test. We advise caution if you’re subject to testing.
How should I store my House of Ounce products?
Keep products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For best results especially with flower and pre‑rolls use airtight containers to preserve freshness and potency.
Can I travel with House of Ounce products?
Federal law permits hemp‑derived products, but state and local laws vary. Always check regulations at your destination before traveling with our products.
